At his young age, Trường Chinh joined the patriotism movement from 1925 and later the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association in 1927, he was one of the pioneers of the campaign to establish the Party and also one of the first communists of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1930).

SHOWOn March 9, 1945, chairing the open Conference of the Central Standing Committee, he issued an Instruction on "The encounter between Japan and France and Vietnam’s acts", which supported a general uprising. In August 1945, he was appointed by the National Conference of the Party to be in charge of the National Uprising Committee; he personally directed the organizations to bring the August Revolution of 1945 to a victory, opening up a new era for the country: an era of Independence - Freedom and Socialism.

SHOWDuring the anti-American resistance war, as Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Mr. Trường Chinh and members of the Politburo worked together to prepare and issue strategic decisions, which contributed to a complete victory for the anti-American resistance war.
